As part of the sale of assets of Global Majic Software Inc., my initial responsibilities included integrating the GMS software assets into the AVEVA product portfolio and working with different parts of the international AVEVA organization to develop an immersive training and simulation platform product strategy that included service delivery partners. The assets of Global Majic became AVEVA Activity Visualization Platform or AVEVA AVP. Led the business capture effort for the first implementation of AVEVA AVP, an Immersive Training Simulator for an offshore oil platform project being managed from Stavanger Norway. Participated in all aspects of proposal generation, contract negotiation, legal review and managed the team responsible for project delivery. The project was won in early 2015 and successfully completed in early 2016.During the last two years, became responsible for leading the 3D visualization team that maintained current generation and developed next generation 3D visualization technology. This team was located in both the US and the UK and was responsible for developing AVEVA's next generation rendering technology, technology that is now commercially available in the AVEVA ENGAGE product line. Also led efforts to develop a 3D visualization interoperability strategy to leverage the new rendering technology via a consistent platform strategy.

Global Majic software provided large organizations a lean and agile process to rapidly create and securely distribute custom 3-D interactive visualization applications and multi-user virtual worlds. Global Majic excelled at taking processes and technologies common in the video game industry and applying that technology to low budget industrial, space and defense applications. Global Majic assets were acquired by AVEVA in December 2012.

ESSI, LLC provided software and implementation services for its eWarehouse product line to customers including ChevronTexaco, BP, Halliburton, Fluor and Bechtel. The eWarehouse product line was an open, object-oriented, web-based, multi-tiered lifecycle information management system and technical data warehouse for the process and petroleum industries. The technology assets of ESSI were ultimately acquired by Bentley Systems.

It transitioned to a product and services company in 1999 with the development of eWarehouse, a technical data warehouse for the process and petroleum industries. Its customer based included Statoil, Intergraph, Chevron, Halliburton and BP.

My focus originally was on applied computational fluid dynamics, mostly for external aerodynamic configurations. Later I developed geometry modeling and grid generation software for CFD applications. I was a lead architect and original developer for the product that became CFD-GEOM. I then led the development group and became product manager. Additionally, I participated in numerous competitive government proposal efforts including winning NASA Phase I and Phase II SBIR contracts for the development of a multi-disciplinary computing environment.
