I managed and coached staff to contribute to organisational change and service improvements to allow the best service to be delivered with the available resources. I also ensured systems were in place to support establishments to increase completion rates at all levels and to move to the next levels where appropriate. I worked with schools to ensure IT availability for appropriate use of electronic resources.I put in place systems for qualitative checking of staff competence and safety backup systems. Furthermore I designed systems to allow CPD opportunities to be available for teachers wishing to up-skill as required to lead or support other elements of school awards. I ensured the Authority was represented at meetings and forums of governing bodies at a national level, and led on the establishment and maintenance of support networks for all awards across city establishment staff. In all of my work I adhered to all Council policies and procedures for administration, standards, equality and protecting the environment. I worked with the City Employability Manager to design a scheme for Stage 1 unemployed young people to begin their journey to full time work.
