About Gary Jacobs

With over three decades of progressive and diverse career experience, I am an accomplished expert in financial, operational, technology, M&A, and restructuring leadership in the media and entertainment, consumer goods and services, manufacturing and distribution, telecommunications, software and technology, pharmaceutical and healthcare, and business services industries.At FTI Consulting, I serve corporate boards, private equity sponsors, and portfolio company management teams, with a focus on M&A transactions, interim leadership, corporate turnarounds, value creation, EBITDA improvement, and digital transformations. I am also instrumental in building and leading the Technology Transformation and Transactions practices within the firm.Prior to joining FTI, I was one of the pioneers in building the Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice at Alvarez & Marsal (A&M). While at A&M, I served private equity sponsors and portfolio company management teams on M&A transactions and value creation initiatives as a finance and technology specialist within private equity operations teams.Prior to joining A&M, I founded JEM Consulting from which I led high-impact, multi-year, restructuring, transformation and M&A transaction engagements for: • Take-Two Interactive • SiriusXM Satellite Radio • PanAmSat and IntelSat • LVMH Perfumes and Cosmetics • Emerson ElectricEarlier in my career, I served as CFO and CIO at several private equity backed companies, and as Director of the Process Reengineering and ERP practices at PricewaterhouseCoopers.I currently serve on multiple charitable, community, and corporate boards and committees.
