Architecture & Design Director for Dunkin’ and Baskin Robbins. My focus is supporting strategic brand design, customer experience, and architectural leadership within a matrixed organization that includes brand leadership, peers, teams, and Franchisees. I develop and implement design strategies and processes that contribute to the long-range success with strategic influence and innovation to the Design, Construction, and Franchise support teams, along with our outsourced Design Consultants. My focus is on promoting and maintaining design excellence on customer experience, site planning, building, interiors, signage, store planning, and brand initiatives.

• Responsible for creating or overseeing all preliminary layouts for new and remodel Dunkin' and Baskin Robbins locations and maintaining all brand standards within these designs for 1,000+ locations annually• Collaborate with Design & Construction, Equipment Innovation, Quality Assurance, Operating Systems, Field Teams, Marketing as well as other departments• Develop robust design solutions systems and lead development from concept to reality while incorporating value engineering principles• Oversee and contribute to the development and distribution of design release documentation• Coach and develop a high performing team that provides support to the Field Team, Franchisees and Architects on store design and operational standards• Manage department budget for Store Planning• Responsible for coordination as well as building and maintaining strong relationships between Architects, the Inspire Brands Teams, Vendors, and Franchisees on a daily basis• Maintain the brand standards throughout all layouts and provide direction to 200+ Architects through plan layouts, layout reviews, and training

• Responsible for all CAD standards and training including development of blocks, attributes, details and protypes;• Responsible for all IT related issues including user email and computer account setup, daily backups, software and hardware installations and configurations and all other IT related issues;• Responsible for management of specialty store tenant fit-up team, engineers and other consultants;• Responsible for development of drawings from preliminary phase to final construction documents for local and nationally known clients;• Responsible for code analysis, job scopes, plan reviews, and value engineering of projects for clients;• Responsible for interacting with client construction managers, designers, vendors, landlords, building officials and general contractors.

• Responsible for management of specialty store tenant fit-up team, engineers and other consultants;• Responsible for directing all phases of construction from preliminary phase to store opening;• Coordinate site inspections, develop project budgets, develop sign drawings and construction schedules. Obtain Landlord approval for sign and construction drawings;• Negotiate contracts and purchase construction materials. Obtain, qualify and award general contractor construction bids;• Administer projects nationwide. Store sizes range from 3,000 to 6,000 sq. ft. located mainly in strip centers, outlet centers and freestanding buildings (some mall and street locations);• Responsibilities also include new prototype development.
