ILASS switch controllerMicroprocessor based controller for the switching system of a very large test station. This controller received commands via a IEEE-488 interface and programmed all signal paths from stimulus and response sources to units under test. Continuous testing of programmed paths to preclude incorrect connections to UUT's was a major responsibility of this controller.Generated a single custom integrated circuit to replace a circuit card which utilized obsolete technology. This was a feasibility project to determine the usefulness of designing Semi-Custom Integrated circuits to replace functions rather than redesigning assemblies using medium scale integrated circuits.
