I most recently served as Director of Campus Ministry for Atlas Campus Fellowship, where my passions and gifts were catalyzed to benefit college students seeking direction, welcome, and purpose. For the pastoral aspect of this position, I regularly interacted with both returning and new students to help them articulate their longings and pains and connect them with people, resources, and practices that could help them flourish. As a teacher and communicator, I provided engaging content multiple times a week through sermons, bible-classes, and individualized bible studies. As the Director of the campus ministry, parallel to my pastoral and teaching roles, I also led the ministry through several important changes over the course of my five years:1. Launched and led a re-visioning process in which we used agile start-up tools to claim and identify both our historic purposes as a ministry and re-envision ways we could live into that mission in the present2. 'Re-planted' the campus ministry as a new, mission-focused organization, complete with new branding, messaging, and rhythms3. Oversaw a $2 million dollar renovation of a 65 year old campus center, from fundraising to design and implementation4. In the midst of my time there, from 2019-2021, we 're-planted' the campus ministry, diving deep into our past history and investigating deeply current student pains and needs in order to envision and make steps towards a flourishing future for the ministry. As part of this effort, I also led an envisioning process, a re-branding process, and worked to create new innovative events, retreats, and mission engagements to strengthen community and invite students into deeper engagement with Christ for the sake of the world. CARE AND FORMATION // The primary goal of all of the above work was the care and empowerment of college students to live lives of purpose on the path of faith in Jesus Christ. As part of this role, I preached, taught, and provided engaging discipleship content for students at all events. Foundational to my approach and calling is "one-on-one" discipleship, in which I actively listen and care for students in the midst of the craziness of their lives.
