Good time management skills allow me to balance the above responsibilities to tight timescales.Achievements in this role include: -• Deputising for the scrum master ensuring good communication and promoting collaboration with the team to resolve blockers. Taking the lead in daily stand up meetings, escalating blockers in line with the scrum agile framework, updating Jira and monitoring progress in sprints.• Implementation of a remote support solution to reduce response times in the event of infrastructure issues.• FCA Certification for the storage and converged team including enhancements to infrastructure security, production of documentation through to approval with technical writers and standardisation of documentation across teams.• Migrated legacy VMWare estate to supported storage switches and flash arrays to extend the lifecycle. Migrating from a distributed to clustered storage model reducing impact in the event of service outage and improving performance. Utilisation of scripting reduced the possibility of human error.• Out of hours support for storage, converged infrastructure and private cloud environments across the EMEA region. This required collaboration with remotely based colleagues and vendors to ensure timely resolution.• Lead storage engineer on DR Tests. Participation in regular testing of the infrastructure and improvements to documentation. The formation of an ad-hoc team for each test required good communications to ensure success. Show less
