At MBH, I mostly prepared tax returns for individual and business clients. There were a few review engagements I completed as the accountant assigned to the project. I was also instrumental in helping the firm convert their accounting software from Creative Solutions Accounting to Workpapers CS, shortly after I started with the firm. This was important because it allowed staff members to do accounting work for clients, i.e. make adjustments and reclassify account balances and transactions, necessary for preparing complete and accurate tax returns. Workpapers CS was a recommended upgrade to Creative Solutions Accounting according to Thomson Reuters, the provider of both software products. The conversion project, which included staff training and documentation, took about a month and resulted in no downtime when using the new program; that allowed the firm to make a smooth transition to using it.
