In this role, I delivered senior-level technology and operations leadership for $750M CPG company. l led simultaneous Global IT operations for two companies, Hamilton Beach Brands Inc and Kitchen Collection, with a combined annual operations budget of $5M and a capital budget of $1M. I conducted M&A due diligence and executed the integration of a $35M company into the corporate structure. Leading a staff of 25 people and six teams, I developed and executed strategic vision and managed global IT governance. I delivered and monitored corporate the compliance program and spearheaded threat mitigation initiatives, including business risk assessments, disaster recovery, and cyber security. I also executed a new ERP platform and proactively adopted server and storage visualization technology early, resulting in lower costs, High Availability, and improved performance with VMWare. My contributions included:• Negotiated an ERP acquisition, resulting in $600K in savings. • Orchestrated initiative to assess “Cloud” technology and transition to Google Apps platform. Achieved $500K in savings over five-year-period.• Consolidated Finance and I.T. SOX compliance program within Information Services, resulting in a $100K reduction in program.• Created and executed company’s first cyber security program, based on NIST, and reported to Board of Directors.• Led five-year, company-wide value improvement program, leading to an average savings of more than $13M, per year• Implemented I.T systems at remote international offices, including those in China, Brazil, and Mexico.• Implemented metrics and developed a strong partnership with third party service provider to improve customer service. Increased resolution rates by 15% and improved turn-around time on end user requests by eight days.• Implemented Global MPLS Wide Area Network for improved security, stability, and VoIP services, and lowered operational expenses by 20%.
