Gary Lear is an early 21st century theorist on the dynamics of high performing organizations. His extensive research has opened new doors and new ways of looking at the concepts of organizational culture, leadership, and employee engagement. Begun in 2002, the early research revealed the Seven Elements of High Performance™, the core model in, and what has become the basis for, the Theory of Organizational Performance Dynamics™. The Seven Elements of High Performance™ was adopted early on by such organizations as the US Navy’s Center for Naval Leadership, the Ministry for Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Canada, and AFOA Canada. His books and whitepapers are being used as resources in many college and university business programs, introducing his theories to a wide range of students around the world.Leading the research at Resource Development Systems, Gary’s focus is on taking the theoretical and finding ways to move the research into application in everyday activities, which then translates into achieving high performance results. Taking the approach from his Cherokee heritage, Gary often mixes in stories to bring the research to life for others to understand and apply that learning to everyday situations. Gary believes that research is of little value if it can’t be easily applied to get the kind of results that you want --- an Exceptional Organization with sustainable high levels of performance. Specialties: Assessments; Organizational Development; Strategic Planning; Goal Setting; Executive Development; Leadership Development; Team Building; Employee Engagement
