Red Sand PR is a multi-genre music consultancy and public relations office run by experienced industry professional Gary Levermore, who has operated for 30 years as a record company director, publicist and artist manager. After compiling and releasing ‘Rising From The Red Sand’, an influential collection of electronic music by artists from around the world that acted as a rallying call for the burgeoning DIY underground scene in 1983, he established the independent label Third Mind Records while still in his teens and ran it for a decade, releasing over 100 titles and achieving sales success with a stylistically diverse range of acts that included the electronic group FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY and singer-songwriter BILL PRITCHARD. The career of the latter blossomed in France and led to additional artist management responsibilities.Third Mind ceased trading in 1994, whereupon Gary began a new venture, Tora! Company. Working primarily with overseas record companies to maximise the potential of their products in the UK market, Tora! managed publicity campaigns (press, radio and TV) plus other promotional and marketing needs when required, while also arranging distribution deals for several labels. Stylistically varied in scope, Tora! was comfortable dealing simultaneously with releases ranging from electronic dance to heavy metal and anything in between. Following a period where he devoted his attention to a time consuming role within the Nettwerk Music Group, Gary set up Red Sand PR and has built a client roster over the last decade that includes label management and publicity for the German multi-genre company Membran (2012-present), publicity for the US electronic/dark rock label Metropolis and the Italian hard rock label Frontiers (both 2012-present), plus current campaigns for companies that include Regime Music Group, Round Hill/Black Hill Records, ANTI-, Crows Feet Records, English Electric Recordings, Icons Creating Evil Art, Zenith Cafe and more. Successful recent artist promotions have included Grammy Award winners Anderson .Paak, Aimee Mann (both label management and publicity) and Jacob Collier (label management), Grammy nominee Somi (label management and publicity) and rock legends Blue Öyster Cult (publicity).
