The last 20 years of my career have been focused on leading and growing businesses in the contract research organizations, life sciences, and biotechnology industries. Previously, my experience was in the banking industry as an executive for 20 years working with middle market entrepreneurial companies. Having been involved in significant mergers and acquisitions activity, international operations, start-ups, and multiple turnaround situations, I am confident in my ability to achieve exponential growth and profitability in continually evolving environments. Throughout my career, I have led and managed numerous large teams and understand the importance of transparency, impact, and taking care of your people. Starting my consulting practice allowed me to leverage my years of experience working in high-stress situations and successfully turning companies around. Using my financial and operational expertise, I assist in helping organizations drive business expansion, turnaround, cost reduction, and ongoing success. Becoming a Vistage Chair allows me to not only share my expertise but to provide a place where peers in similar situations can gather and openly discuss the most significant decisions facing them and their organization. Having a seat at a table with other local leaders committed to growth, feedback, and action is invaluable for a CEO. Access to education, ensuring the success of international education, and diversity within have been at the forefront of my career. As a long-term board member of the International School of Indiana, I served on the Executive Committee. Additionally, I am passionate about creating opportunities for education for students who, like me, are the first in their families to attend college. I have served on the Board of Directors and am currently a Trustee Emeritus for my alma mater, Knox College. Both Knox College and the International School of Indiana have been given awards for creating access to quality education and diversity.
