Managed server configurations using Spacewalk. - As a result of my research, optimization and implementation of Linux-based server improvements the overall MySQL infrastructure was vastly more stable. The product performance improved over 1000% in some cases, and by 400% on average using the same hardware. There was still much more room for improvement. - Fielded a wide variety of triage/troubleshooting tickets using Jira associated with maintaining the health of the core company products. These ranged from pinpointing problematic code on specific product pages, to discovering configuration problems with Apache, MySQL, memcached, MarkLogic, Linux CentOS/Redhat, and Windows servers, to performing data remediation or bulk data loading for company clients. - Go-to person in the company for all Linux-based MySQL server problems as well as Apache issues. Was the maestro that made the company MySQL servers sing. - Benchmark and evaluation of various proposed company server infrastructure changes, using open source tools, in order to provide what the result of the changes would be in regard to infrastructure performance and any upgrades that would be needed to support such changes. All testing was performed on Linux servers. - Stood up company Jasper Reporting Server and researched/learned how to build data-driven reports and report templates.

- The site started out as PimpRig.com, which was often banned or blocked to our readers at work due to the domain name and its often mis-categorization as an adult-based website. About 4 years later, the site was renamed to PCApex.com, which allowed for much more accessibility for our members.- Shortly after, came GameApex.com, the sister review site that handled all game platform reviews, much like PCApex handled all PC hardware reviews.- Then, a little over a year ago, the forums for both of these websites were merged into one forum located at ForumApex.com, which will be the forum site for the other future *Apex.com websites that are in development for a network relaunch.

- Developed from the ground up a customized, enterprise-level media workflow and management system that handles Comcast's commercial media assets for the southern region of the US. - Completely redesigned the DSi website, and company branding. Their old, static website held a meager amount of information at best, and was not coded for SEO. I was responsible for “filling out” the content, during which time I kept track of things like keyword density per page, proper heading tags and selected targeted words for maximum SEO results. The DSi website now averages over 50x the amount of unique visitors per day than it used to; with the totals always trending upward. The website is designed to be cross-platform friendly, mobile-friendly, fast loading, SEO optimized and there is more than enough room to grow. *** Note *** During the same year I was hired, as well as the following (current) year, DSi has won the Nashville Future 50, the TN Hot100 and the Inc.5000 Awards.- Created numerous dynamically driven elements, using Wordpress as the website CMS backend, which I installed and configured for their use. Numerous website forms now allow guests to communicate with the DSi staff via the website, submit various projects for quotes, to register for software that can only be downloaded after registration, and more.- Responsible for creating all other electronic marketing materials. I created a wide-range of advertisements that were printed in numerous publications with wide-reaching audiences.- Created many other miscellaneous resources for the company: improved the readability and layout of numerous forms, retouched graphics for court-cases, laid out oversize prints for court cases, scanned X-Ray material evidence and converted the image to electronic form, and much more. I also proofread many documents for the DSi staff before publication and transmission.- I designed and created the vehicle graphics that are on the DSi electric delivery car. I created many different PDFs for use at LPS hosted events and training. I also created and managed all EMail marketing campaigns for LPS, including multiple HTML-based email templates that are fully compatible with Outlook 2007. Created many different email layouts for a wide range of purposes (training class schedules, event invitations, partner emails, and more) that were all setup to work correctly in all major html-based email reading programs (including the notorious 2007 version of Outlook).- Created many other miscellaneous resources for the company: the LPS offices Wireless Login page, very large full-color banners for use at events, company desktop wallpapers, special wallpapers and layouts meant specifically for technology demos by the LPS engineers, and more.- Proof-read many documents for the LPS staff before being sent off.
