I am an experienced United States Army veteran with over 14 years of demonstrated expertise in the fields of medical operations, medical logistics, personnel supervision, resource allocation and distribution, and healthcare/patient administration. I possess strong knowledge and experience in operational planning, training, research and analysis, and problem-solving.In my current position, I directly oversaw nine employees and managed battalion level medical operations serving six direct reporting units, responsible for the time management, planning, and operations execution ensuring overall readiness, capabilities and coordination of movement and resources in support of simultaneous operations. Synchronized time, space, and purpose in accordance with senior leader’s key objectives. As the senior medical operations officer in the battalion, I oversaw all operations to include publishing, authenticating, and execution of all plans and written orders, strategic level planning, inventories, and established and executed the policies governing the medical operations for a 480-member team. Served as an information conduit between different levels of organizational leadership.In my previous position, I served as the Chief of Patient Administration for Fox Army Health Center, providing full outpatient support for 80,000 beneficiaries. I directly supervised 20 employees in support of 21 providers, clinical and ancillary support staff. I was responsible for the administration of 48,000 medical records; transcription; Coding; Release of Medical Information;Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act compliance, and the Health Center’s Uniform Business Office. Lead the Data Quality team focusing on process improvement developing key strategies to increase revenue. As the Chief, I ensured compliance with all published regulations.
