I am the founder and managing attorney at Lawvex, a Central California trust and estates, business and real estate law firm. Instead of trying to make an existing law firm better, I started from scratch - as a solo at first and built the brand, business model, systems and culture from the ground up. I founded Lawvex on the simple premise that law should be less frustrating: for clients, for lawyers and for staff. That's where the name "Lawvex" came from - to take the frustration (the "vex"-ing part) out of law. We were one of the first branded law firms in our area to operate with a trade name instead of the partners' last names. I believe the law firm name should communicate our heart and be about the clients, not about the lawyers.I manage a team of 23 talented lawyers, law clerks, paralegals, and legal assistants that serve multiple California counties and operate out of four office locations in the Central Valley and Central Coast: Clovis, Madera, Solvang, Santa Barbara.
