Gary commenced his apprenticeship in 1981 with Wates Construction Ltd in the UK and worked on a variety of projects in the capacity of quantity surveyor.Gary's tenure with WT Partnership commenced in 1996 having arrived in Australia and immediately commenced work as a Senior Quantity Surveyor predominately working on the Olympic Infrastructure and event projects. During his time at WT Partnership Gary has been responsible for a diverse range of projects from retail, health, residential but more recently Commercial and Sports Infrastructure projects, successfully providing services from conception to completion.Gary more recently has worked and managed a WT team on the successful delivery of a Premium Grade Commercial tower for Investa & Gwynvill Properties at 60 Martin Place, having worked on the previous refurbishment of the building for Westpac. Gary and Team has also been involved with Infrastructure NSW in the successful delivery of CommBank Stadium in Parramatta and Sydney Football Stadium (Allianz) in Moore Park.Gary and Team prior to COVID extended the successful stadium journey on Stadium Australia, with INSW engaging WT to redevelop the Olympic Stadium to a rectangular sports stadium. Unfortunately it was not to be.Gary and Team, are now assisting INSW on the Refurbishment of Penrith Stadium, with the intent in refurbishing and expanding for the current premiers.With Brisbane 2032 on the horizon, Gary is assisting the WT Brisbane Office with their endeavours to aid the Queensland Government and Stakeholders in their Stadium and Venue requirements, ranging from refurbishing to new build.
