How Walt Created Disney World' examines the high level of secrecy and subterfuge surrounding the purchase of the land needed to give Walt what he considered "the blessings of size" to accommodate every dream he could envision. 'Florida State Soundtrack: The Musicians of the Sunshine State' looks at homegrown talent that became national and international stars including Ray Charles, Jimmy Buffett, Jim Morrison, Gloria Estefan, Lynyrd Skynyrd and others.

Through decades as a writer and world traveler, I acquired a blend of wisdom, experience, and practical knowledge which I realized could be imparted to help associations, organizations, and individuals navigate their way through challenging situations. I'm a firm believer in Harry Truman's adage that human nature is a constant, and this underscores my belief in the universality of my message: Change is inevitable and by anticipating, appreciating, and sometimes implementing change in our personal and professional lives, its energy can empower us.This philosophy became crystal clear in October 2021 when I was paralyzed from the chest down. Emergency surgery restored the feeling in my legs which led to months of physical and occupational therapy... and an appreciation of abilities I had long taken for granted.

Writing seems to cover the foundation of what I've done through newspapers, magazines, online publications, advertising, marketing, and public relations. Add to this books across a variety of topics including history, travel, motorcycling, capital market crimes, and America's cultural heritage -- as well as production for commercials, training films, and travel videos.All of that -- along with the ability to write long-form features -- enhances the portfolio.
