Ensuring Oil Derivatives trading technologies (Endur, Murex) availability for BP Oil globally, managing both dedicated and matrix managed Business Analyst, Development, Test, Architecture and Release resources to achieve this. Working with the Front / Middle / Back business stakeholders to prioritise issues, and ensuring changes are delivered to production in a controlled fashion.- Leadership team role establishing a 3rd line support team within the Derivatives Technology group, supporting production releases, whilst also improving the user perception of the systems and 3rd line team capabilities. - Owning the management and costs for all pre-production environments for Development, Analysis UAT and OAT for Derivatives technology and Satellite Applications. - Establishing 'follow-the-sun' 3rd line support cover for Singapore and Chicago offices, leveraging on-shore and off-shore resources, along with knowledge transfer with local 2nd line teams.- Working collaboratively with Support, Development and Architecture teams to deliver/transition new business initiatives, capacity and stability enhancements, whilst driving down release frequency and costs. Designing and owning early life support process (ELS)- Incident / Problem / Vendor and Release Management within ITIL v3 framework.

Responsible for trade floor support for BP's European trading floors, (900 users), lead/develop 6 Trade Floor Support Analysts, and provide the escalation point for other business technology issues. Incident / Problem Management within ITIL v3 frameworkInitially a contract role, converting to permanent in May 2007. During this role I introduced tools and processes to deliver change to BP trade floors in a controlled fashion and supporting business continuity plans. Other key Projects include the Trade Floor relocation from City to Canary Wharf offices late 2005, and Reuters migration.
