About Gary & Genarian: After a very successful fundraising career for over twenty years, I became a certified executive and life coach and built a mission-driven coaching practice by working with executives, boards of directors, and teams who work for non-profit organizations. I have also engaged a large clientele of individual clients who work for non-profit organizations. The people I work with in my coaching practice have a common trait--a desire to change the world in some meaningful way! I earned my CPCC credential from the Coaches Training Institute in 2006, which includes specialized training in Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching, and then earned my PCC certification from the International Coaching Federation in June 2016. I am also a certified practitioner of the Leadership Circle Profile individual and culture assessment tools. Over time, I began seeing a trend in my client base of mid-life/near-retirement executives, staff, and volunteer leaders beginning to address what was next for themselves, and who were looking for ways to leave their organizations and create new later-in-life opportunities for themselves. This trend became so intriguing and I wanted to learn more. I chose to attend U Mass Boston’s gerontology program and earn an MS in Management of Aging Services as a way to understand my coaching clients, the experiences they are having in life, and ways I can bring added value to them.As a coach and gerontologist, my goal is to excel in that unique and important place where coaching and gerontology meet.
