IT leader for a multinational, multicompany, multilocation organization. Responsible for overseeing and managing the entire Information Technology Department and ensuring that the company’s technology is meeting its goals and objectives efficiently and reliably. Work closely with senior leadership, users, and the technology team to help determine the best way possible to meet the established technology roadmap.

The Director of Information Technology is responsible for the NCPDP information systems operations, support, system security, office automation, telecommunication, training, budget, supervision and consultation. The incumbent works under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, Industry Information Technology. Responsibility encompasses the information systems delivery to NCPDP staff and membership. In coordination with membership work groups and senior management team, the incumbent provides direction and day-to-day expert advice to achieve the goals of NCPDP.* Implemented Shoretel VoIP Phone System* Implemented Kentico Content Management System* Implemented Fortinet firewall & Wireless Infrastructure

Develops and directs the implementation of strategies for enhancing the College's data and communication capabilities, including the installation and operation of academic, business and financial management applications. Oversees the operation of the Information Technology department by hiring, training and directing the work of the departmental staff. This included network administration, database administration, web administration and technical support staff. Responsible for research and recommendations for the future development and implementation of technology college-wide. Develop and implement policies and procedures governing the use of technology for both academic and staff users. Exercise budgetary/fiscal responsibility in managing a $900,000+ departmental operating budget, additionally managed $200,000 to $400,000 annually in Capital projects. Enterprise applications: Sungard PowerCampus, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Perceptive Software ImageNow, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, Microsoft Active Directory and upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007.* Implemented a Shoretel Voice over IP phone system with desktop faxing. This eliminated the need to install approximately $50,000 of copper infrastructure to expand the current phone system. This project also eliminated 17 stand alone fax machines and reduced the total number of POTS lines used by the college. Replaced the existing network backbone with multi-mode fiber connections to all buildings.* Implemented VPN access to network infrastructure.* Implemented NetApp NAS for increased storage capacity.Originally hired in as the Network Administrator. Took over as directly a little over a year later.
