As the Wapello County Attorney, I supervise five assistant county attorneys in performing the duties required of the county attorney's office according to the Code of Iowa. These duties include:Prosecute all violations of state criminal laws and county ordinances.Provide legal advice to the Board of Supervisors and county and township officials.Represent and defend the state, county, and its officers in officially related cases.Recover all monies (debts, fines, penalties, etc.) owing to the state or county.Present all mental health commitment proceedings and all juvenile delinquency and child in need of assistance cases.

Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) grant prosecutor. Prosecution of gender-based crimes including domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

Advised group commander on revision and implementation of regulations, policies, and programs. Directed civilian environmental coordinator in ensuring 2,600+ military, civilian, and contractor employees complied with state, federal, and Air Force environmental regulations.Executive Officer May ­ July 2004 Led three military personnel in providing executive support to the group commander. Prepared briefings, organized weekly meetings, assigned and tracked task and project completion.

Supervised seven personnel, providing network support for 8,700+ users and $10 million infrastructure.Responsible for ensuring 115 vital information systems complied with Air Force, Department ofDefense, and federal laws and regulations; received "Outstanding" rating in program inspection.

Managed service contracts valued at $4 million+ and negotiated $400,000+ in construction contracts. Wrote contract documents, supervised contractor performance, managed contract funds. Supervised and trained engineering technicians in support of $550 million construction program.
