Gary is a retired financial executive and business strategist with over 40 years experience working in business development, mergers and acquisitions, finance and most all accounting and financial disciplines including systems design and implementation, treasury, risk management, banking, capital acquisition, and corporate tax in large muti-subsidiary and multi-national environments and smaller closely held firms including various and diverse manufacturing companies, start-up firms and a specialty chemical research company. He has managed corporate level functions including finance/accounting, treasury, and cash flow management. He has assisted companies implement growth strategies, restructure debt, renegotiate bank covenants, manage working capital, raise margins, improve month-end close procedures and efficiency, implemented government contract accounting practices, and implemented retirement plans. Additionally, Gary has managed business turnarounds, acquired numerous companies (one via a hostile bid), managed a public offering on the London Stock Exchange, developed business plans and private placement offerings, negotiated leases, initiated and managed bank relationships, and overseen annual audits, including DCAA reviews. Gary has developed expertise in building and maintaining diverse professional relationships including commercial lenders, investment bankers, CPA’s, family financial advisors, attorneys, insurance and real estate agents. Gary has closed over 9 acquisitions, handling the purchase/sale agreements, performing due diligence, developing the financial justification and assisting in the financial and operational integration.
