I returned to work for Renn Kirby shortly after the company bought a Chevrolet Dealership. At Bogley, I learned a lot about truck sales and felt that I could combine my skills with a company that has advancement opportunities. This was a challenging environment to become a sales manager. I had to manage a sales team that was twice my age and selling cars.

This position was a sink or swim opportunity. There were two computers in the dealership. There was one on the owner's desk and one to look up parts that connected to the internet by dial up. All the paperwork and accounting was done by hand including leases. There were used cars that had been in inventory for almost a year and the new car inventory was.

I actually was the lot attendant during the summers from 1990 to 1994. Shortly after High School I was introduced to car sales. I had no way to pay for college so I decided to work full time and attend the Community College. I made average wages a even earned salesperson of the month 3 times, but it was not until I learned that I was going to make a career.
