During the last three years of my professional baseball career I pursued opportunity in Asia. I hired and international agency and received placement in Taiwan in 2008. There I set the all time foreign hitting streak record and achieved attention from the Japanese Major Leagues. I pursued Japan the following year playing for Bobby Valentine and finally in 2010 knowing it was my last year I pursued a contract in Italy. I was able to speak mandarin chinese, japanese and italian enough to survive in all countries without any help.
