As the last stage in the manufacturing process before the product went to quality control, I was responsible for testing the functionality of electronic card assemblies, tracing errors to identify faulty components, performing minor repairs, visually inspecting the circuit cards, and verifying the shipment was correct and ready for final inspection. After leaving the manufacturing line and moving to the lab, it was my responsibility to design card tests, analyze field failures, adapt and expand test parameters to improve test coverage, assist manufacturing with failure analysis and design, and to build and repair test apparatus when necessary.
