The Miller Family has served over 103 years in the insurance tradition & profession beginning in 1920 with Gary's grandfather, Ray Miller Sr, a career Metropolitan Life Insurance Agent for 45 years! Gary represents the 3rd Miller generation of 4, starting his career in insurance in 1981, joining his father Ray Miller Jr's long standing and successful insurance practice in the Property & Casualty tradition in 1948. Gary is the present agency owner of The Miller Financial Group.Growing up in Dresher, PA, Gary is a graduate of Upper Dublin High School. He earned his BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy (West Point, NY), serving over 20 years in military service, both active and reserve, in the US Army. Gary earned his MBA in Risk Management from Temple University. For over 12 yrs, Gary served as an Adjunct Professor, teaching "How To" manage Risk & Uncertainty in the Fox School of Business, Temple University. Gary served on the Dean's Council of the Fox School of Business & has attained the professional insurance designation of Certified Insurance Counselor, (CIC).Gary is the author of "Taming CHAOS - A Parable on Decision Making," an Amazon Best Seller, which had its Public Release at West Point 27 February 2017.
