Gary Rohrmayer is an executive leader with a get-it-done attitude. Leading both start-ups and historic organizations in significant growth and lasting impact. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, after he experienced a dramatic conversion in his early 20's, he turned this entrepreneurial energy into starting new churches throughout the Midwest. As a pastor, author, speaker, coach, trainer, and executive leader, he has a unique focus on mobilizing and mentoring leaders in the mission of Jesus. Gary has been involved in church planting since 1987. During this time, he has been involved in over 200 new church plants and training thousands of church planters and pastors nationwide and internationally. He was the founding pastor of White Stone Community Church in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, from 1988 to 1998. In 1995, Gary and his wife Mary launched a resource and consulting ministry called Your Journey Resources (www.yourjourneyresources.com), which specializes in developing reproducible, evangelistic, and discipleship materials for adults and children. He has authored 17 books, 7 eBooks, and his spiritual conversation tool, The Spiritual Journey Guide that has sold 3 million. He has consulted, coached, and spoke for multiple denominations, mission organizations, and seminaries.In 1998 the Rohrmayers made the hard decision to leave their new church to launch a new movement of churches throughout the Midwest, as Gary became the Director of Church Planting for Converge MidAmerica from 1998-2010. On March 1, 2010, Gary became the President of Converge MidAmerica, overseeing its ministry and business interests that support regional church planting and ongoing care of its partner churches. Converge MidAmerica has grown from 125 to 711 churches under his leadership and is now known as Converge MSC (MidAmerica|Southeast|Caribbean).Gary also provided start-up leadership for AXELERATE (axelerate.org), a trans-denominational group that provides executive coaching and training for national and regional denominational, associational, and network leaders, which in the last six years has impacted over 30 denominations and network leaders that are influencing over 30,000 churches. Gary's driving vision is to 'see that no leader travels their ministry journey alone.'Gary & Mary have three grown children and three grandchildren and live in the suburbs of Chicago, IL.
