Served as Army Southern Regional EHS Coordinator reporting to the Pentagon Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army(DASA). Address EHS sustainability issues facing Army operations in EPA Region 4. Working with Federal-State regulatory authorities and military installations to support and develop Army EHS programs. I coordinated regional activity with installation command staff, communicated with EHS program staff at installations, coordinated with Army HQDA Pentagon, negotiated with Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina,North Carolina, Florida, and Region 4 state and federal facilities legislative and regulatory compliance officials.

Provide service to a large complex fiber optical cable mfg. plant. Responsible for EHS program development, training, and compliance. Specific tasks included management of Air Permits, Wastewater Permits, Environmental Management System (EMS) ISO14000, industrial solid & hazardous waste contracts, OSHA VPP program audits(ISO18000), applications for & renewal of EHS permits, safety program reporting, incident planning/notification and investigation, and preparation of compliance reports for internal management and external regulatory agencies.
