    AMERICAN AIRLINES – DALLAS, TX 2000-Present SENIOR MANAGER CYBERSECURITY & TECHNOLOGY RISK MANAGEMENT (2018-PRESENT) Govern operations for the American Airlines IT Global Situation Center consisting of four cross functional teams including IT Situational Analysis, IT Incident Management / Cyber Security Incident Management, Situational Awareness Engineering, and Change Management.  Oversee the development and architecture of technical products designed by these teams. These products include the following AIOps/Machine Learning, Application Performance Monitoring, Synthetic Transactions, Alert Communications, Change Management and Big Data/Log Transport.  Hold responsibility for $50M+ operational and $30M+ project budgets.  Spearhead all technical project operations with over 100+ stakeholders between operations, engineering, architecture, projects, and service delivery. Key Results Delivered: Mitigated mean-time resolving high severity incidents consistently for the last six years by 20% or more each year. 27% reduction in 2023 and 36% reduction in 2022.  Addressed 3,650+ calls and reports of high severity incidents in 2023 triaging each call within an average time of 15 minutes and paged out the first notification.  Obtained 100% observability coverage for all vital and critical apps (known as applications critical to operate a flight).  Remediated $1MM+ vulnerabilities across AA systems in 2023; the goal was only 500K.  Renegotiated contracts to render significant cost savings including over $2MM with the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, over $1MM with the Adobe Enterprise Agreement, and replaced 58K desktops and laptops after the merger with US Airways.
