I am the Medical Director and Laser Safety Officer at Medical Day Spa of Chapel Hill. This follows a 35 year career performing tubal microsurgery. The common element in these disciplines is meticulous attention to detail. I am certified in fractional CO2 laser and Nd:YAG laser as well as advanced dermal filler and neurotoxin treatments. I am also certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine, the American College of Epidemiology, and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I have served in the US Public Health Service as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Centers for Disease Control. My greatest reward in medicine comes from helping patients. I enjoy promoting skin health and being a part of advancements in clinical medicine including evidence-based clinical research.
