• In this time period seventeen issues of a 32 page comic book called Pakkins’ Land were produced, published, and distributed.

In March 2000 Image Comics published Issue #4 of Pakkins' Land: Forgotten Dreams.

• Began with company just as it was changing from traditional typesetting and paste-up to desktop publishing. Initial responsibilities included spot illustration and paste-up. Assisted the production department in learning desktop techniques and became the department “troubleshooter” for all computer graphic programs used.• Worked with editors in laying out educational publications and executed those editorial plans from raw manuscript to final digital output or camera-ready art.• Contributed to over 300 educational publications during my seven and a half year tenure with the company. Some of my work included:• Creation of cartoon character for 12 book intermediate science series.• Created several Teacher “Clip Art” books that continue to be on the company’s bestseller list.• Produced a series of full color posters for Evan-Moor’s theme books. Some of these included realistic animal renderings; others used cartoon characters to demonstrate educational concepts.
