The Old Rep Theatre Birmingham

• Updating the Theatres’ ‘Lets & Hire’ policy delivering clarity of terms of hire and actual costs• Completed risk assessments for the entire Front of House operations, H&S, emergency and implementation of the LEAR procedures ensuring all Front of House staff are fully aware• Implemented recruitment campaign to increase staff from 14 to 60, raising standards to ensure staff were trained and motivated to deliver and achieve the highest customer service levels • Implemented new concept “Private Booths” providing VIP experience, attracting £1500 additional revenue per week and increasing both brand and corporate profile• Composed and delivered training modules and programmes utilised throughout the Theatre• Through procurement and the Implementing of a prolific Front of House initiative campaign achieved a 44% net profit on confectionery, 76% on wet and 80% on Ice Cream with average spend increasing from 70p to £3.40

New Alexandra Theatre

• Responsible for the management and rollout of a new corporate customer service initiative• Appointed to chair monthly H&S committee meeting, increasing awareness leading to the improvement of H&S audited score from 76% to 96% through increased staff diligence • Provided advice and guidance to the company saving £80,000 in a judicial case review• Increased revenue by £7k p.a. attracting high net worth clients to hiring the theatreMy stand-out successes include:• Raised over £45k for local charities through costume character nights and staff motivation• Selected to lead the corporate rollout of a new customer service standard agreement• Project managed ‘damage limitation’ for theatre following a theatre flood, sourcing suppliers, monitoring bids and tenders and managing overall refurbishments to the highest standards• Planned and delivered a rolling toilet refurbishment programme with no loss of customer service• Prepared budgets & forecasts delivering £5.5m revenue, 47% increase year on year• Introduced the ‘Ambassador Lounge’ concept, a private area leading to 50% uplift on revenue• Utilised extensive experience in stage planning and refurbishments to manage the redesign and refurbishment of the entire dress and stalls seating to include the ‘finishing’ of a new bar area• Achieved additional 25% increase in customer spend through innovative marketing promotions

Cornwall, Devon & North Norfolk

All encompassing daily operations of the Groups Ten Cinema sites across Devon And Cornwall including the over-sight of retail sales, health and safety and management recruitment. Instrumental in the selection process of the companies new five screen operation in Falmouth and presentation of the companies ethos. Introduced a cost saving project on post mix saving the company a significant outlay on the year. Worked on producing uniformed Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety compliance for each individual site. Compiling and updating the companies handbook for employees which is still in use today
