My journey to Purpose started in the 1990's, spans the internet and e-commerce, the business imperative that was knowledge management, the move to collaborating beyond email, the evolution of enterprise social networking – thanks to Facebook – and it always struck me that, even though it was, and still is, about people, process and technology, there was a missing ingredient.How did the technology inspire anyone? Did IT care about how the technology was too complex, too difficult to internalise beyond the operational aspects of transactional and peer-to-peer systems, without true collaboration? With this in mind, the gap became clearer to anyone interested in increasing engagement between your people to your customers.
