Managing the on-air brand and promotions departments for two stations in Halifax, Nova Scotia; CKHZ-FM is Hot AC (Energy 103.5) and CKHY-FM is Modern Rock (Live 105).Under my stewardship over one year Live 105 now dominates A18-34 in the market. Also, Live has posted huge gains in A25-54, leaping from 7th to 4th.Energy 1035 has undergone a format change to Hot AC (from CHR) and a new core demo of Females 18-44. This change happened early in 2013 and since Energy has seen growth in the target demo.

Greasy was part of the Q104 morning show at 7:10am, Monday to Friday for a great run, with many memorable moments from 2003 to 2012, thanks in huge part to BJ Burke and JC Douglas.I created this business in early 2004 to manage the alleged, but more like fanciful media empire of Grease. Nominated as best morning DJ once or twice by Coast Magazine, Halifax.Greasy was profiled in the April 2009 edition of 'Downhome' Magazine; a nationally circulated publication.Greasy was a part of the number one morning show in Halifax on Q104 FM and had helped to provided dominant ratings (adults 25-54) in the 7 to 7:30 am time block for many years. I also had a spell doing it fer 92.9 JACK-FM, from 2015 to late 2019!N'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat, eh?!

I launched 89.3 K-Rock as program director, which signed on June 12, 2008. Hired and trained the on-air staff, wrote the imaging, created the music format/clocks in Selector, coached and motivated the staff and participated in creating the marketing plan for the station. The station had about 2.5 months to go through 'growing pains' before the first ratings book; which turned out to be a huge success. The station debuted at #1 adults 25-54 and remained the dominant station while I was the program director. I also conceived/wrote/implemented many specialty shows/block programming into revenue generating sales packages.

I was part of the original staff at Coast 101.1 which signed on February 12, 2004. At the beginning I held many roles; on-air (live on the morning show and voice-tracked in evenings), music scheduling, production, remotes, specialty programming production and assisting with developing/implementing the station marketing plan. This was my first radio management position and as you can see, I had a full plate which accelerated my knowledge and growth for future challenges.The station did very well in the ratings and carved out a lucrative niche with adults 25-54 in the market which I was thrilled to be a part of.
