As chairman, Mr. Tyner represented CCST in Washington D.C. regarding the state of the industry, the strategic changes occurring, and the resulting impact on the association on a national level. Mr. Tyner helped to co-author and pass legislation to improve the sector in order to protect consumers. Mr. Tyner negotiated and executed the first signed articulation agreement in Texas between a career school and a University allowing transfer of credit.
