We accomplished all employer goals & served the user community in a way that exceeded all expectations. Below is a short list of our accomplishments.Reduced server farm from 8 Windows Servers to 2 Windows 2003 Servers and one Linux server that we used for our QAD ERP software.Streamlined RF communications by implementing a separate Telnet Server that served the RF user community. Migrated all shared data from older Win 2000 Severs to new Win 2003 Servers. Migrated over 500Gigs of Data and set up Active Directory Groups and security. Implemented Group Policy for Document Management and Domain Security. Implemented Logon scripts for each AD group and organized security access for users.Implemented Symantec End Point Protection Server and Symantec 12.5 Backup Exec. software. Installed Remote Agents on Windows Servers and QAD Linux Server. Wagon Automotive previously did not have a reliable back up or any disaster recovery process. We developed reliable back ups to an external drive rotation and documented a full disaster recovery plan that included offsite and onsite strategies. Included plan for Network Attached Storage for future back ups. Back up plan was thoroughly tested and audited with a perfect score.Migrated Ms Exchange 5.5 server to MS Exchange 2003 Server. Moved all mailboxes and services including OWA & Email Archiving plan.
