I am currently Exploration Manager CGX Energy generating and maturing prospects in arguably the hottest play in the world...Offshore Guyana. I am utilizing Petrel and Kingdom to generate new prospects on CGX concessions. I have also generated and audited prospects for various companies such as RRB Energy and Energy Drilling Ventures (EDV) in the GOM (shelf and deepwater) and internationally. Experienced in Seismic Interpretation via Petrel, Kingdom 2D/3D interpretation, 3D Vuepak, and Landmark DecisionSpace as well as RokDoc (IKON Science), Genesis/Trinity Modeling and Kingdom Geological Interpretation. I am experienced in risk and audit evaluations via GeoX and Rose & Assoc. software.

Generated Basin model and restoration including geochem and migration history via Trinity software. Generated additional prospects offshore Ghana utilizing the migration history and seal analysis. Responsible for geologic aspects of Ghana and The Gambia. Generated various attribute volumes and regional horizons/ faults from a new 3 D survey via Kingdom software within 4 weeks of seismic delivery in The Gambia.

As a Geological Advisor, I developed and advised management on new plays. I matured and expanded Norphlet play. I also generated prospects, evaluated risks and sub-salt opportunities, mentored younger, less-experienced professionals, and participated in peer reviews worldwide, including Philippines, Congo, and Kurdistan. I also evaluated Middle Miocene subsalt prospects in Mississippi Canyon. Here a few of my accomplishments: Generated Cretaceous “roller” play in Mississippi Canyon as well as creating and affirming viability of an entirely new non-Norphlet EGOM play concept in Lloyd Ridge for long-term goals of significant reserve additions. Generated prospects and opportunities in deep-water GOM, resulting in 11 successful lease bids in Federal lease sale. Conducted farm-in evaluations, making technical recommendations on pursuing opportunities..

In my role as a Senior Staff Geologist / Jurassic Lead, I developed new plays and generated prospects for federal deep-water lease sales. Here are just a few of my accomplishments:Created and implemented Murphy’s Jurassic exploration program in Eastern GOM, exposing Murphy to potential reserves in new area.Generated Norphlet prospects on 29 blocks, resulting in successful bids on 20 blocks either 100% Murphy or in partnership with Anadarko and most recently Shell, over 3 lease sales.

As a Senior Geological Consultant, I evaluated Addax Petroleum concession offshore Cameroon. Here are two of my accomplishments: Generated new prospects that resulted in 10-fold increase in probable and possible reserves by interpreting and utilizing new 3-d survey over intensely faulted concession (3 wells had been drilled in late 1970s). Determined 2 wells were required of concession and both deep and shallow wells were planned for prospects, working in Switzerland (Addax Headquarters) for 6 months.

Here, as a Senior Geologist, I generated near field and exploitation prospects utilizing integrated 3D seismic data approach as well as well planning and regulatory activities. I oversaw exploitation and exploration activities on 6 fields in VR 253 and SMI areas. I evaluated and made recommendations on acquisition candidates and supported drilling operations. I also prepared Geological prognosis on proposed wells and co-ordinate with engineering and represented Maritech Resources with joint venture partnerships.

As a Senior Geological Consultant, I generated near field and exploitation prospects both onshore and offshore, utilizing integrated 3D seismic data and well data approach. I supported drilling operations and prepared Geological prognosis on proposed wells and co-ordinate with engineering. I represented Range Resources with joint venture partnerships and made presentations to management and partners on opportunities on jointly-leased properties.
