As EVP of Business Development and Sales, I led many key components of JOYN’s transformation and rebranding, including:• Executed a rebranding of the firm (new name, message, website, etc.), differentiating ourselves through Behavioral Wealth Management;• Implemented our sales strategy around the new vision; • Galvanized our team (including new recruits) around our new direction and message; and• Significantly increased our client base and revenue.My involvement was both direct and supervisory. I oversaw a team that included Advisors and our Chief Marketing Officer, and oversaw the rebranding of our company that led to the creation and implementation of our messaging strategy.I was also intimately involved with recruiting, retention, advisor compensation structures and firm financials/budgeting, as well as client relationships and sales initiatives, including workshops, presentations, public relations and advertising.Over the years, we earned spots on a number of prestigious lists (as measured by assets under management), including Barron’s Top U.S. Investment Advisors, REP’s Top 100 U.S. Registered Investment Advisors, Financial Advisor’s U.S. RIA Ranking and the Financial Times FT300.
