Client example follows:$50 million Enterprise Software Company •Headed restructuring of the services group which consisted of 4 acquired firms and 100 employees. Increased the gross margin from 1.6x of CoGS to between 2.5 - 3.0x •Identified a key problem - the services backlog had never been tracked and consisted of only 6 months work. Software sales were slow and not generating services backlog. The answer: identified a source of revenue that added $8.0 M per year in new service sales. This level has been sustained for two years.
