Solution Oriented Creative Director Bringing Visions to Life that Significantly Grow Brands | Marketing Campaigns | Websites | New Solution Development | Brand Assets | Strategy | Consumer Design | AdvertisingI empower teams to craft creative solutions and assets that customers need, exceeding business outcomes every time for Fortune 500 brands and startups.I am a resourceful, motivated and engaging Creative Director with over 30 years of demonstrated leadership at in-house and agency-side firms to deliver on the creative process from concept to launch. I am a great communicator and enthusiastic presenter who has crafted numerous brand assets, original websites and campaigns for TONI & GUY, Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Procter & Gamble, and Dr. Pepper 7-UP. Career highlights include:• Launched American Greetings’ original eCommerce website. • Developed the first electronic publishing system, moving traditional offline production to electronic • Led product planning and provided usability feedback to create Micrografx’s (now Corel) Designer Technical Edition that is still in use, 25 years later. • Managed the development team who built “Print to Kinko’s”, enabling end-users to seamlessly pay to print from Microsoft applications.Back when I was a kid my parents took me to Disneyland. I quickly learned to love good design aesthetics that kept me fully immersed in the story. I found myself copying their signage, drawing attractions and building 3D models not just of Disney, but other theme parks and roller coasters. In college I discovered that I was good at marketing, but even better at design. I changed majors to advertising design. I learned the benefits of being competitive with other students and myself, constantly pushing the envelope beyond what the client expected.Early on in my career I discovered that what hasn’t been invented needs to be. This led to my passion for working with startups and the creation of processes to become an inventor in my field.Today I love a good design challenge. Taking a client along the journey and enrolling them in the creative vision is the most rewarding thing I can do.From creating a large magazine in the dawn of desktop publishing, to working user journeys with interactive design, I deliver products that not only are on-brand, but something the consumer loves. I take pride in having my work in stores and online where ordinary people can enjoy them. I look forward to continuing to craft amazing assets customers and consumers alike will love.
