I caught the Accounting bug in college. While completing my Business Administration degree at Fresno State I was required to take a couple of accounting classes. Once I got into those classes, the material came very easy to me and I began to understand the connection between accounting and business. From there, I continued my pursuit of accounting, eventually earning my CPA license in 2010. Since becoming a CPA, I’ve taken great interest in the development and implementation of new technological systems in the field of accounting. As a partner with The W CPA Group, in addition to serving as Co-Chair of CalCPA’s Technology Committee, I have been able to combine my intuitive and innovative approach to accounting to better help clients with their overall financial picture – which in the end means saving them money! Through the course of my career I have applied this approach to clients in a variety of fields, including construction, health care, technology, food services and real estate. My current role as a partner consists of many different responsibilities most importantly always taking care of our clients and truly helping them with their financial goals. I am responsible for the technology, marketing, firm processes and procedures, as well as our amazing staff here at the W CPA Group.
