A personal initiative which the Regional Management allowed me to develop with great success during 4 years. Main purpose, Freight contract negotiations for 8 countires (Ocean, Air and Courrier services) for reducing transport costs, hence Import Duties. Reported annual savings by USD 2,5 mio. Redesigned Inbound processes (Transport Logistics and Customs related).Traveled along the world. Took part in different workshops and trainings.

Reporting to the Managing Director, 4 HC Staff.Total responsibility on the Import Logistics process (order placement, international logistics, customs clearance, DC delivey). Contract negotiation (Consolidators, F. Forwarders, Cust. Brokers, Representative for Adidas upfront the Government, Public and Private Institutions (Customs, Secretary of Industry & Commerce, Chambers, etc).

Order placement and order follow-up of all Company´s Imports (Raw Mateials, Machinery & Spare parts, etc). Price negotiation on products and services (Freight, Insurance, Cust. Broker, etc.). LC issuance (banking operation). Benchmarking analysis.

Internal audits taking place all along the Company´s structure (Manufacturing Plants, Factories and Distirbution Center). Special focus on Inventories and Finance
