The field was producing 135 MMSCFD of gas through seven gas wells which are interconnected by trunk lines to the Central Processing Facilities (CPF). The Yucal Placer Phase 300 project included new facilities to increase the field production to 300 MMSCFD of gas and mainly consists in the installation of fourteen new gas wells, a second CPF plant (CPF2) for the new gas treatment train in parallel of the existing train (CPF1), new trunklines and a new fiscal gas metering station.As an Instrument and Controls Lead Engineer, was a member of DORIS Engineering’s management team and was responsible for the engineering design activities of all new instrumentation and Integrated and Control and Safety System (ICSS) of the Yucal Placer Phase 300 Project during the project’s Basic, Detail Engineering and Procurement Phases. Served as a technical resource and lead for the design and specification of equipment and systems for ICSS, electronic instrumentation systems and equipment for the new facilities and equipment. Lead and delivered Instrumentation and Control Systems support for the project, provided direction and supplied information as needed. The position participated in Hazard Operations Reviews (HAZOP), P & ID Reviews, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT's) and equipment selection.
