During this time in the lab of Dra. Elena Posse de Chaves I performed experiments in mammalian cell lines within a collaborative project about how endocannabinoids could be regulating the vesicular cholesterol transport. I gained skills in the field of cell culture, fluorescent microscopy and imaging flow citometry (IFC).

I spent 3 months in Dr. Kurzchalia lab improving my skills in genetics and biochemistry techniques in C. elegans. Also, working in a collaborative project about endocannabinoids and cholesterol transport in C. elegans.

Effect on sperm function".I have gained experience in molecular biology techniques such as: -PCR y agarose gels.-Restriction enzymes.-Transformation.-Bacterial culture.-Sterilization techniques.-Purification of Recombinant Proteins by Affinity Chromatography.-Evaluation of protein extracts by SDS-PAGE.-Western Blot. I also obtained practice in handling biological samples (semen), as well as in brightfield and epifluorescence microscopy.
