Located in Philadelphia, we are a professional yet friendly accounting firm who specialize in providing business consultancy services. Our offices are situated in Center City at 13th & Walnut St and in the Society Hill area at 3rd & Gaskill St, just off Head House Square.

Reporting directly to the CEO/owner I was responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with key business clients. I assisted clients in developing their business, helping them grow and streamline existing activity. This involved business strategy planning, budgeting, financial reporting and ensuring accounting and tax compliance. I liaised with internal and external stakeholders, third party subcontractors, and attend networking events. My work involved a complete analysis of operational processes and systems, a review of current marketing strategies, research into new markets, technologies and business practices. I set goals and constantly compared progress against set key performance indicators. Working in tandem with our team and third parties we ensure the prosperity of our clients. We pooled our experience and skills to steer clients towards their ideology and the culture which is to be the core of their organizations.I left to open my own practice having built such a strong reputation with the clients I worked with.

On completion of an Associate Degree in Business (UK HND) I began working for Andrew Brealey Accountants. I concentrated my interest in finance by taking night classes at Derbyshire University, studying the ACCA knowledge models (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants). In recognition of my work and studies Andrew offered me the opportunity to become equal partner, I gladly accepted and we became Brealey & Newbury Accountants. Over my seven year period working at the practice we established ourselves in the area and our turnover grew exponentially. Our growth and that of our clients propelled us from a humble 2 to a busy 6 members with several offices over two counties. This expansion was driven by a clear strategy and facilitated by a high level of involvement with our clients and excellent service. I was integral in the creation of new business, developing existing clients organizations, opening additional offices and acquiring and incorporating a large client portfolio from a retiring accounting firm.This business was my first love and despite me now being merely a freelance entity to it, I thoroughly enjoy helping Andrew Brealey develop the organization. As equal partner in the firm I was jointly responsible for both the management and strategic development of our practice. At an operational level, developing work flow processes, systems, and a practice template was my focus. The goal being to replicate the structure and systems and open multiple offices across the country. Setting aside the running of the business my work consisted of client relations, consultancy and advice, accounts production and tax calculation.
