Ship Operator
Current- Responsible for dry cargo ships fleet smooth operation. - Coordination of the day to day operational activities of time charter vessels ensuring compliance with the agreed charter party terms. - Participate in meetings with customers, stevedores, agents and charterers - Liaising with ship brokers, ship owners, port agents, internal departments and overseas offices to ensure efficient operations. - Ensuring proper accounts of voyage costs, proper funding for disbursement on voyage/owners, checking bills of lading, other marine documentation.- Bunker ordering operations.- Involved in freight invoicing, analysis and monitoring of operational data.- Instructing of the vessels, agents, contractors and stevedores on a daily basis.- Claim handling, demurrage/dispatch calculations.
