As a Co-Founder, Manager, and Principal Geospatial Analyst at USAID, I have over 14 years of experience in applying geospatial technologies to support development projects around the world. I co-founded the USAID GeoCenter in 2011 to build and apply geospatial capacity at USAID by developing policy, procedures, and best practices to utilize data, analysis, and visualization for better development decisions. My specialties include geographic/statistical data analysis and visualization, policy development and implementation, data and analysis needs assessments, capacity building and technical training, cartographic design and production, and geographic data collection, management, and distribution. I have extensive field experience in China, Thailand, Indonesia, Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, Mozambique, Tanzania, Ghana, Cape Verde, Ukraine, and India. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. I am passionate about using geospatial tools and methods to enhance the impact and effectiveness of development interventions and address global challenges.
