As an MIS Executive in the US healthcare industry, I am responsible for managing and delivering key internal and external reports, including KPI reports, with a focus on optimizing healthcare operations and financial performance. I develop and deliver presentations to key stakeholders, ensuring that complex data is translated into actionable business insights.KPI Tracking & Monitoring: Tracking critical KPIs related to claims processing, denial management, and revenue cycle efficiency. I work closely with the revenue cycle management (RCM) team to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and support process improvements.Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of all healthcare data, adhering to industry regulations such as HIPAA, and maintaining compliance across all reporting activities.Continuous Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement within the reporting cycle, aiming to reduce manual effort, streamline operations, and enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Denials Management: Specialize in identifying, reviewing, and managing denied insurance claims, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up to maximize reimbursement.Claims Analysis & Research: Analyze denial codes, payer policies, and clinical documentation to determine the root cause of denials and develop strategies for resolution.Appeals & Resubmissions: Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims, providing all necessary documentation to support the validity of claims and ensure prompt payment.Collaboration with Payers: Liaise with insurance companies and third-party payers to resolve issues related to claim denials, underpayments, and discrepancies.Rejection and Denial Trend Analysis: Monitor and report on denial trends, identifying patterns and working with the billing team to improve claim submission accuracy.Resolution & Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up activities on unresolved denials, working to ensure claims are reprocessed, corrected, or resubmitted to achieve appropriate reimbursement.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of denial cases, appeals, and resolutions, and generate regular reports on denial performance and recovery efforts.Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the revenue cycle team to optimize processes, reduce denials, and improve overall AR performance.
