Project: Notification Platform for OnStar Client: OnStar GMDescription:Notification Platform is an expansion of OnStar Notification services designed to notify the customers of their vehicle’s operational status, and potential unauthorized use of their vehicle. The service will send the notification messages to the individuals or partners who are associated with OnStar. Project: XM-Radio for OnStar Client: OnStar GMDescription:XM-Radio is an internal tool for OnStar employees. Using this tool they could create offers for a particular vehicle for a particular time period. This tool gives the ability to view, create, edit, copying, deletion of the offers.Tools and Technologies Used:Jdk 5.0 / 6.0, Eclipse IDE, Spring 3.0, Spring MVC, REST, JSON, AJAX, Javascript, JQuery, JSP, HTML, CSS, Apache Tomcat 6.0/7.0, Weblogic Application Server 10,J2EE Design patterns, UML tools, Oracle 11g, MySQL, SQL Developer.Roles and Responsibilities:• Designed and Implemented the framework for Frontend using Javascript/JQuery and Backend using Spring/JAVA.• Developed a custom JQuery Grid plugin in order to be used inside the tool as 3rd party plugins weren't allowed.• Agile and Test Driven Development Methodology was used for this project• Leading the team for maintenance releases, defect fixes and further enhancements in the application.• Configured and used Fortify for security scan analysis and sonar/PMD for good code quality.• Used Redmine and HP ALM for defect tracking.
