In my journey of vertical FC to group FC, got the opportunity to set up/lead a high performing & diversified controllership team of 45+ including 10 Qualified CA across multi line business segments.It is a comprehensive role which encompasses:-Responsible for managing end to end finance & accounting functions, hiring, functions priorities, and reporting.-Responsible for establishing complete process/corporate governance (O2C, P2P, R2R), Internal Risk Control Matrix around Process / system controls, ensuring the Corporate Governance framework and compliance.-Ensuring the compliance with Companies Act, FDI (B2C/market place/PN2 etc), FEMA (export/nodal account/NBFC licenses etc) and other applicable statutory act/regulations (grants/licenses)-Managing the financial statement preparation in IGAAP and Ind AS (IFRS) for all the group companies, process of internal audit as well as external audit & Due diligence while ensuring closure well before the timelines.-Working as a strategic business partner to business leaders.-Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and enhance overall financial operations.Key Achievements-Implementation of SAP HANA.-Successful transition to big4 statutory audit firm (ensuring audit completion 2 month before timeline in first year of big4 audit alongwith from qualified audit report to clean audit report) -successful transition of another big4 as internal audit firm.-Strengthening corporate governance.

Has been a key part of EY audit practice where I led BSE 30 listed client, major e-commerce clients, telecom, prominent educational institutions and have worked extensively around:• IFRS/IND AS Conversion and other GAAP issues and advisory;• Leading 4+ IPO projects (end to end process from the audit to listing on the stock exchange).• Prevalent/best accounting practices and accounting manuals;• Assisted management in complex accounting matters including business restructuring/combination/merger, designing financial instruments;• Financial Statement Close process improvement;• Presentations to Board/Investors for key matters;• Accounting policy drafting and benchmarking;• Business development (new business);• Regulations governing the sector (FDI Policy, Press Note 3/2 etc);Responsible for managing client relationships, project economics and deliverables.
